Welcome to Learn to Skate's 46th Season 2008-2009!

Path Figure Skating Club has been providing skating instruction for
children and adults in the Greater Framingham area for over 45 years! Our
classes are taught Saturday mornings at Loring Arena on Fountain Street
in Framingham, MA.
Professional instructors teach the following programs:
LEARN TO SKATE:
Our program "Skate with US" is the learn-to-skate program of the governing
body of figure skating, the United
States Figure Skating Association. This program
includes 45 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of supervised free
time. Skaters progress through Basic "Skating" Skill levels (1-8) and are "tested" at
the end of the session. Upon mastering the skills for the session,
skaters receive a patch. Application for "learn to skate" is below. Please
use separate application for each skater.
LEARN TO SKATE for HOCKEY:
Our program "Skate with US" is the learn-to-skate program of the governing
body of figure skating, the United
States Figure Skating Association. This program includes 45 minutes of
instruction and 5 minutes of supervised free time. Skaters progress through
Basic "HOCKEY Skating" Skill levels (1-4) and are "tested" at the end of
the session. Upon mastering the skills for the session, skaters
receive a patch. Application for "learn to skate for hockey" is below. Please
use separate application for each skater.
PARENT/TOT
This program is designed for 3 and 4 year olds who might need the moral
support of a parent alongside them on the ice for the first 3-4 weeks
(or until the child can "fall and get up" by him/herself). This program includes
40 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of supervised free time. Tots
are awarded "Snowplow Sam" badges upon completion of the program. Application
for "learn to skate" is below. Please
use separate application for each skater.
INTRO TO FREESTYLE :
This program is designed for skaters who have passed Basic 4. This
class is held Tuesday evenings at 5:50pm and includes 25 minutes of
instruction and 25 minutes of practice time. Intro to Freestyle includes
backwards skating, spins, and jumps. Skaters are tested at the
end of the session and receive a patch upon successful mastering
of skills.
Application for this "advanced group lesson" is available below. Please
use separate application for each skater.
ADULT GROUP LESSONS:
This program is designed for skaters 18+ (beginners-advanced) seeking
a fun fitness activity or who may be returning to the sport after years
of the ice. This program is held on Tuesday evenings at 5:50pm with
25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of practice time. Application
for "adult group lesson" is available below. Please use separate
application for each skater.

Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
